Mr Mortgage4u website was designed as a unique information
source for the discerning mortgage shopper. My life's
mission is helping other achieve their American dream
of homeownership.
Many years ago I was denied a Chicago real estate loan
after finding my dream Chicago home. After going thru
the whole long, confusing process. All I kept thinking
there must be a better way to do this. I realized that
none of the professionals in the loan process took
the time to learn anything about me. I was more than
numbers on a page!
None of them were willing to think outside of their
little boxes; lending is not about numbers on a page
but people living their lives.
This denial spurred me into action; I passed a real
estate course and set out to educate individuals and
communities on homeownership opportunities. I became
a successful Chicago real estate agent over the next
few years. But that loan denial kept nagging me. I
tired of my clients complaining about non-responsive
loan officers and felt I could do a better job. Loan
officers seldom take the time to educate their clients
about the lending process. An average person should
be able to make a wise decision about their Chicago
home financing, if given the proper information.
I have fought long and hard to make the loan decision
fair for all concerned. I have worked with community
groups and local municipalities on issues such as the
need for laws on predatory lending. My belief is that
an educated consumer is the best defense against this
problem.
This is the reason many of my clients come back time
and time again. They recommend me to their families
and friends for their Chicago real estate financing.
